Kat Bird

Kat Bird is a student at St. Edward’s University pursuing a BFA in Animation. She has always had a fascination with animation and illustration, especially Japanese anime. In her work she draws inspiration from slashers of the early 1980s and the artwork of Junji Ito, Ernst Kirchner, and Hirohiko Araki. As she continues to learn and grow as a creator, she hopes to further explore the role of women in the horror genre.
